Going into this, I wasn’t expecting miracles from the 9Cr18 steel, but sometimes these budget blades can surprise you. I came away pretty impressed with how it held up.

I’m glad I decided to wait and pick up the 3.5” version of this knife that looks like the McNees PM MAC2 instead of the 3” version. The 3.5” version fits perfectly in the hand and basically delivers a full size cutting blade in a very EDC friendly size. But there are also a couple of noticeable (and very nice) differences in this particular knife.
