Cut Test – Petrified Fish Beluga

Here’s the next installment in our Redneck Cutting Tests series. The Petrified Fish Beluga is a beautiful full sized knife in Bohler K110 steel - which is the equivalent to gold ole D2 steel. (Kind of like 20CV = M390). D2 is known to have a noticeably better edge retention than some of the more popular budget steels like 14C28N, Nitro-V, VG-10, and CPM154. So let’s see how the edge holds up to the Redneck Knife Rodeo!
