Today we're putting the oversized Roosevelt XL replica (Rosie/“Fosie”) through our Redneck Cut Tests to see if its performance matches its impressive specs. The seller advertises cryogenically treated D2 steel with a 60-62 HRC rating - claims that deserve a proper test to separate marketing from reality.

Surprisingly, the cutting performance backed up those claims - maintaining at least a 9/10 sharpness throughout all our testing and easily stropping back to a 10/10 afterward. While the cartoonish proportions still make this knife too large for my everyday carry (as detailed in our review video), there's no denying the excellent edge retention on display.
