Today I'm reviewing the Spyderco Native 5 replica in G10 scales. I picked this one up from OKK because I absolutely love their carbon fiber version of the Native 5 and wanted to see how the G10 model compared. While this knife does have some very good qualities, I have to be honest - I'm a little disappointed with this particular version. It differs from the original design in a couple of pretty significant ways that stood out to me right away. That said, it's not all bad news, and there are definitely some redeeming features worth mentioning. I'm looking forward to putting this through our cut testing to see if the performance can make up for some of these design differences. Sometimes a knife that doesn't quite match the original can still prove itself when it comes time to actually cut.
